De acordo com o jornal oficial do pa\u00eds,\u00a0<em>Granma<\/em>, o rem\u00e9dio j\u00e1 foi respons\u00e1vel pela cura de mais de 1.500 pessoas.\u00a0 Trata-se do\u00a0<strong>Interfer\u00f3n alfa 2B<\/strong>, um medicamento que j\u00e1 existia e era usado para tratamento de doen\u00e7as como dengue e HIV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O medicamento \u00e9 um dos 30 escolhidos\u00a0 pela Comiss\u00e3o Nacional de Sa\u00fade chinesa para ser usado no pa\u00eds para tratamento do coronav\u00edrus. No domingo (8\/3), o presidente de Cuba, Miguel D\u00edaz Canel, comemorou em seu perfil no Twitter a parceria com a China. que o medicamento foi desenvolvido h\u00e1 quatro d\u00e9cadas para outros tratamentos e que a efici\u00eancia \u00e9 n\u00edtida. &#8220;Ele \u00e9 desenvolvido por uma prote\u00edna que faz parte do sistema imunol\u00f3gico e a fun\u00e7\u00e3o dele \u00e9 interferir especificamente em infec\u00e7\u00e3o viral. Ele atua tanto impedindo a replica\u00e7\u00e3o viral, quanto no combate ao v\u00edrus.
